Jared joined PSECU Financial Services in 2013. He maintains his Series 7 and 66 registrations with LPL Financial and has been a financial advisor since 2006. As a Retirement Income Certified Professional*, he focuses on creating viable income strategies for retirees and those nearing retirement. Jared graduated from Virginia Military Institute with a bachelor’s degree, served eight years in the Army, and was deployed twice in support of the global war on terrorism. Upon leaving the service, he had obtained the rank of Captain, and the title of Executive Officer for an Infantry Company.
Jared grew up in Harrisburg and attended Bishop McDevitt High School. He resides with his wife, son, and twin daughters in Dauphin County. Outside of work, he enjoys playing hockey, camping, and being active with his kid’s sport teams.
Helping people, whether by planning for retirement or college expenses, is truly Jared’s passion. Besides developing a comprehensive and custom financial strategy for each client, he conducts reoccurring meetings with clients to review performance, reconfirm financial goals and make adjustments as lifestyle or economic conditions dictate. Jared takes the utmost care in protecting his clients' confidentiality, ensures that they are comfortable with the strategies presented, and is appreciative of the confidence they have in him.
